What is YouEtch? 

YouEtch provides laser etched products including iPhone cases, Dog-Tags, and Aluminum business cards. We use a precise cutting edge laser technology to handmade each one of our ordered products.

How does it work?

You begin by visiting our main page and clicking on “Get Started.” You then choose one of our product categories (iPhone 3G cases, Dog-Tags, or Aluminum business cards). After you have selected the category, you then can select one of our products that will lead you to our artwork gallery to choose from or you can submit your own. After the artwork is selected you will have the choice to customize the product further by adding text to it.

How are YouEtch products made?

The process begin by placing the product in one of our precise laser machines, we then select the artwork desired and start the carving process of the artwork directly into the surface of the product. This process allows us to deliver high quality long-lasting products that can stand up to all kinds of daily abuse conditions.

What is laser etching?

Laser etching is the practice of using lasers to engrave or mark an object. The technique can be very technical and complex, and often a computer system is used to drive the movements of the laser head. Despite this complexity, very precise and clean etchings can be achieved.

What is the difference between laser etched cases and stickers or skins?

Stickers and Skins can only be used once and are not interchangeable. Once removed stickers & skins will never again adhere quite as well as the first time. On the other hand laser-etched cases are easy to interchange and can be used endless times. You can have etched cases for any event and all you have to do is pop-out one case and pop-in the other, at work you can use your etched logo case and at social events you can use your favorite etched case.

With laser-etched cases there are no sticky tapes or edges that can rise up and peel off. You can swap the cases in/out in seconds.  We etch the artwork directly into the surface of the cases which ensures a lasting effect.

Can I create and submit my own design?

Yes. Simply choose one of our products and on the page where it asks you to select an artwork category select, “Submit my own.”

What artwork format do you accept?

The best format for submitted artwork are vector based (Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw). But we accept various raster image formats, the higher the resolution the better your etched product will turn out. If you need advice on whether your artwork is acceptable contact us.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently we only accept payments through PayPal. We take every measure to ensure the security of our website. Shop with confidence knowing our web site assures online visitors that confidential information cannot be viewed, intercepted, or altered.

What is YouEtch return policy?

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason and it is unused, YouEtch.com will replace the product at no charge within the first 30 days from your order date. If a refund is requested, YouEtch.com will credit the customer the full purchase price of the order (Less any charged shipping charges, if applicable) in which YouEtch.com received payment.

Once you mail your product to us, email info[at]youetch.com to let us know that your product is shipped and whether you’d like a replacement or a refund.
